Training Course on Combining Data from Different Sources and Modes
The Training Course on Combining Data from Different Sources and Modes is started in Marriott Courtyard Hotel, Tbilisi, today, on October 22. The training course is organized by the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), Statistics Norway and Geostat.
The purpose of the training is to review the methodological and practical aspects of statistical data production, which implies use of different sources of data. Combining data from sample surveys and administrative sources is actively used by leading statistical agencies to improve the quality of the data and to reduce respondent burden.
The representatives of the NSOs of the Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) countries participated in the training, together with Geostat. The training seminar will last until October 26.
