Giorgi Mukhigulishvili has been a member of the Board of GeoStat in 2018 -2023 years.
Mukhigulishvili has been working as a researcher on the issues of energy and sustainable development at World Experience for Georgia (WEG) since 2010 year. His research area covers the following topics: analysis of the policy and strategy of energy, system modelling and planning of energy, sustainable development issues in energy sector, economic and financial analysis of energy efficient and renewable energy projects, analysis of energy legislation of Georgia and the European Union. He has been delivering lectures concerning energy economics, energy and transport policy of the EU, analysis of cost-benefit at Ilia State University since 2014. Giorgi has been a certified expert on national reports of the countries included in annex I of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change since 2013. He is also a founder of the Association of Young Professionals in Energy of Georgia.
Giorgi Mukhigulishvili has been awarded master’s degrees in economics (International School of Economics - ISET) and international relations (Ilia State University).
He is fluent in the English and Russian languages.
