Project to improve National Accounts and Price Statistics in Eastern and Southeastern Europe

Main objectives – The purpose of the project is to assist the Geostat in developing a Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) and expanding coverage of the Producer price Index (PPI) in terms of services
Main results – The project is designed to assist GEOSTAT to implement a new statistical product – Residential Property Price Index. The RPPI is mainly used by the compilers of national accounts, the NB of Georgia and private developers. Secondly, the project aims to expand coverage of services of the existing PPI.
