Geostat hosts the study visit of the staff members of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan. 
Within the study visit, the colleagues from Tajikistan will meet the representatives of the National Statistics Office and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. The main objective of the visit is to share experience on agricultural reforms, implementation of different targeted programs and the best agro-practices. 
Georgian colleagues will share the practice of agricultural statistics production, sampling, data collection, data proceeding and analysis during the meeting. 
The study visit is the part of the FAO project that aims to improve the level of living condition in rural areas and the food safety by means of strengthening state institutions.
