In Tbilisi, the “Eighth meeting of the Eastern partnership’s Expert working Group on Statistics” is held under the Platform 2 - Economic Integration and Convergence with EU Policies.
Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of National Statistics Office of Georgia has opened 2-day meeting and addressed the participants. According to him, the main purpose of the meeting is to support the National Statistical Offices of the Eastern Partnership Countries in planning and conducting 2020 Population Census rounds by sharing information, experience and best practices.
Besides Geostat Staff, the representatives of Eurostat and the Eastern Partnership Countries participate in the meeting at Radisson blu Hotel.
