The National Statistics office of Georgia conducts training course on Gender Statistics on February 5-6. The training course is held in the framework of the EU-funded project “EU Supporting the Inter- Agency Commission on Gender Equality” in Borjomi. Representatives of state agencies, NGOs and scientific groups participate in the above-mentioned course. During two days seminar, the main directions of the development of Georgian Statistical System will be introduced to the participants. They will get the information on gender statistics in the country, data dissemination tools, gender statistical portal as well as existing the key gender indicators in international practice and etc.
