The National Statistics Office of Georgia continues to cooperate with the Statistics Office of Denmark within the framework of the EU Twining project.

Within the framework of this project, several meetings of international experts were held last month. The meetings were held online, with the aim of carrying out work related to the introduction of sectoral reports in the section on national accounts.

During the meetings, with the involvement of Danish experts, the accounts of various institutional sectors were summarized and the capital account was discussed.

The project was launched by Geostat and Statistics Denmark in April 2019 and will run until November 2021. The aim of the project is to further strengthen the capacity of Georgian statistics in terms of producing timely, internationally comparable and reliable data by Geostat.
