Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, participates in a High-Level Seminar (HLS) jointly organized by Eurostat, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) on September 23-24.
The meeting is held in online format and is attended by the representatives of top managements of the National Statistical Institutes of the Eastern European, Caucasus and Central Asian (EECCA)countries, as well as by the representatives of international organizations.
The main objective of the meeting is to determine the future priorities and expectations in the field of statistics, also to share the latest information of innovative statistics introduced by the statistical institutions of different countries.
During the meeting, Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat, presented the challenges facing the Georgian National Statistical System during the pandemic, significant achievements of Geostat, as well as the current activities and future priorities.
