A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Georgian think tank organization "Geocase” and the information agency “Commersant". The tripartite document was signed by Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat, Mr.Viktor Kipiani, Chairman of Geocase, and Mr.Giorgi Abashishvili, Managing Partner of Commersant.
The purpose of the memorandum is to increase economic education and promote economic and business research in the society. The Memorandum prescribes the rights and responsibilities of the parties in the process of requesting and exchanging information.
In the framework of the signed memorandum Geostat will provide the necessary information to Commersant and GeoCase in the scope of its competence , which will help effective implementations of their activities, on the other hand they will provide Geostat’s communication with their audience and promote statistical products upon the interest.
In the framework of the memorandum will conduct joint meetings and events, and will ensure the stakeholders with necessary information as well.
As a result of cooperation, this document will facilitate the exchange of necessary and important information between the parties.
