From May 30 to June 3, the National Statistics Office of Georgia hosts the expert mission from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The main purpose of the visit is to assess the situation in the field of production of agricultural statistics and identify the priorities of future cooperation.
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has been cooperating with GEOSTAT for many years in the field of production of agricultural statistics.
Within the framework of this cooperation between Geostat and USDA, significant activities have been carried out, such as: the introduction of modern data collection methods (CAPI), field staff training, various technical assistance, as well as the international experts missions support.
