National Statistics Office of Georgia conducts “Child Welfare Survey”.
The survey is to be conducted with the technical and financial support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the third quarter of 2022, and about 1,400 households across the country will participate in it.
For this purpose, from June 27 to July 4, about 130 field personnel participating in the survey will have a large-scale training. Geostat interviewers will review in detail the research methodology, the instructions for completing the questionnaires and the issues related to the field procedures.
The aim of the survey is to collect information about the condition of children aged 0-18 years-old. The survey will collect information related to various aspects of children's welfare, such as access to education, school feeding, access to medical services, child protection, child material deprivation and social protection, attitudes towards persons with disabilities, functional limitations of children etc.
