The National Statistical Office of Georgia continues an educational excursion. Today, GEOSTAT’s headquarter were visited by the fifth-grade children of Tbilisi 150 public school.
The children got acquainted with the general principles of Geostat activates, the century old history, visited the museum, where the historical computer equipment and century-old devices are located.
Mr. Gogita Todradze, the Executive Director of Geostat, introduced the interactive portal, "Statistics for Kids and Teenagers", specially designed for their age category. He talked about interesting and funny statistical facts and completed cognitive quizzes with them.
The information about Demography, Education, Agriculture and other statistical data was interesting for children.
The National Statistics Office of Georgia plans to hold such kind of educational meetings for kids and adults in future.
