The employees of the Geostat were awarded certificates of merit regarding the 104th anniversary of the foundation of the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Gogita Todradze, the Executive Director of Geostat, met with the employees having more than 40 years’ service record, evaluated their working and expressed gratitude for provided activities.
At the meeting the employees recollected the stages and actions, which they had experienced with the Geostat.
The first Statistics Office of the country was established on 25 July of 1919. Therefore, the aforementioned date is related to the commencement of official statistics keeping in Georgia.
