The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Statistics Office of Georgia and National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia. The memorandum was signed by Mr. Gogita Todradze Executive Director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia and Mr. Giorgi Tkemaladze, the Vise President of National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.
According to the agreement Geostat will provide supporting the association for data collection and processing in line with international standards and methodology.
Furthermore, the parties will cooperate on the issues related on Gender statistics and sectoral statistics indicators as well as ensure to strengthen human resources and the accessibility on statistical information in the municipalities and representative bodies of Georgia.
