The National Statistics Office of Georgia is in the process and actively engaged in formulating the National Strategy for the Development of Official Statistics for the period 2024-2027.
For this purpose, the first meeting of the working groups was held on November 28-29, at the "Hilton Garden Inn" hotel, focusing on the development Action Plan for the National Statistical System of Official Statistics for 2024-2027.
Representatives from all agencies as well as the Geostat and the Inter -Agency Council actively participated in the meeting.
The main goal of this strategy is to enhance the efficiency of the National Statistical System, with a focus on improving statistical data collection, processing, dissemination and use within the country.
The formulation of the above-mentioned strategy is carried out with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with active participation from both international and local experts.
