The National Statistics Office of Georgia is hosting a delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development for a study visit from February 19-22. The visit is being conducted as part of the Macroeconomic Stabilization and Reform Project supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The main objective of the study visit is to exchange experiences in producing national accounts. Key topics to be discussed during the meeting include the calculation of Gross Domestic Product and other essential macroeconomic indicators, tables of resources and usage, the process of revising historical indicator series, and the primary data sources necessary for national accounts preparations.
