The National Statistics Office of Georgia awarded successful and meritorious employees in connection with the 105th anniversary of Geostat.
Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat presented special certificates of honor to the employees and expressed gratitude for their fruitful work of the Office.
At the meeting Executive Director mentioned about the involvement and the important role each of them in the projects implemented by Geostat. According to him, encouraging such activities further enhances their dedication to work.
The country's first statistical office was established on July 25, 1919. Therefore, the mentioned date is connected with the start of official statistics production in Georgia.
