The guests at Gurjaani Wine Festival had the opportunity to get additional information about the 2024 Population and Agricultural Census.
Hundreds of people, at the Wine Festival were able to get more information about the date of the census, its goals and objectives, as well as data collection methods, methodology, and the content of the questionnaire at the Geostat banner.
Geostat representatives held several meetings with citizens in Gurjaani on October 12, 2024. They also distributed information booklets, branded t-shirts and hats.
The Population Census in Georgia will be conducted from November 14 to December 19, however, due to possible deterioration of the weather and difficult meteorological conditions, in some high-mountainous and hard-to-reach administrative units, namely - Mestia, Lentekhi, Kazbegi, in some administrative units of Dusheti (Gudamakari, Kvesheti, Khevsureti, Ukanapshavi, Shatili , Magharoskari and Pasanauri) and Akhmeta municipality ( only in the administrative unit of Omalo), the Population Census will be conducted in the period from September 18 to October 8, 2024.
