The memorandum sets out the parties' rights and responsibilities in the process of the information request and transfer and this procedure is regulated by relevant legislative acts. In particular, the Geostat will provide the Revenue Service with all statistical products, which are in the sphere of interest of the Revenue Service, and Revenue Service will provide the Geostat with the information within its competence. The memorandum aims to ensure the effectiveness of the process of fulfillment of the parties' commitments. Also, the memorandum provides for the creation of a joint working group according to needs. 

The memorandum was signed by the Head of the Revenue Service Irakli Gvaramadze and the Executive Director of the Geostat Meri Daushvili.
