The National Statistics Office of Georgia continues to meet with students within the framework of the memorandum signed with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In Telavi State University Ms. Meri Daushvili, the Executive Director of the Geostat spoke about the importance of the 2014 General Population Census.
The meeting was aimed at providing young people with the information regarding the General Population Census. Along with Meri Daushvili the meeting was attended by the Adviser to the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Otar Abesadze and Rector of Telavi State University Giorgi Ghelaghutashvili. The meeting discussed the possible employment of university students in the framework of the Census.
By the decision of the Governmental Coordination Commission on the Population Census of Georgia, 2014 General Population Census will be held during November 5-19.
