The 3-day seminar organized by the European Free Trade Association(EFTA) is held in Tbilisi. The event opened today. The main topic is the development of the Price Statistics and sharing the European experience. During the seminar were discussed: Consumer Price Index, Data Collection, Sources, Calculation of the Index, Purchasing Power Parity, etc. The seminar is led by the representatives of the Statistics Offices of Norway and Switzerland. 
Seminar was attended by the representatives of Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine statistical offices at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi.
